Allocation of Civil Trial Dates in Dublin Circuit Court - 15/05/2020

Further to the statement of the President of the Circuit Court Published on 8 May 2020, and due to the current provisions of the Health Act 1947 (Section 31A -Temporary Restrictions) (Covid-19) Regulations 2020. In order to have a hearing listed in Dublin Circuit Court, Legal Practitioners are required to complete the Case Management Questionnaire and/or a Statement of Fact. Same can be submitted to Dublin Circuit Court Office by post or by e-mail at dublinciviloffice@courts.ie.  Upon receipt of the Case Management Questionnaire and/or Statement of Fact, the Circuit Court Office will allocate hearing dates. 

Please note the following:

  • A Questionnaire must accompany each new Notice of Trial submitted to the Circuit Court Office until further notice from the Dublin Circuit Court Office.
  • Where a Notice of Trial has already issued, a questionnaire must be completed and furnished to the Dublin Circuit Court Office as soon as possible.
  • If a case has been reassigned a date for hearing, but is suitable to be heard earlier (this legal year), a questionnaire must be completed and submitted to the Dublin Circuit Court Office immediately.
